How about some love?

There are many theories as to the origin of Valentine’s Day. Many, many, many centuries ago, Valentine’s Day was actually a Christian commemoration of Saint Valentine, the patron saint of lovers. But we don’t know if the custom associated with Valentine’s Day can also be traced back to him. Some say yes because in the 3rd century Saint Valentine married couples in Rome and is said to have given them flowers from his own garden. Others believe that the custom roots in the celebration of the Roman goddess Juno – the protector of marriage and family. To honor her, women in ancient Rome were given flowers on February 14th. But perhaps Valentine’s Day was just an invention of English florists in the 15th century. Who knows…

But anyways, it doesn’t actually matter. A day dedicated to love and the special people in our lives is beautiful, isn’t it?
