Winterburg: Organic Punch and Bouncing Fun at the Luftburg

In winter, the outdoor garden of the restaurant Luftburg – Kolarik im Prater transforms into the enchanting Winterburg – essentially an extension of the Wintermarkt at Riesenradplatz. From Nov 16th, 2025, to Jan 6th, 2026, you can look forward to a unique combination of festive coziness, 100% organic cuisine, and free outdoor fun for the whole family.

The festively illuminated garden welcomes you with handmade straw seating, warm wool blankets, and Christmas music. The focus, as always, is on organic culinary delights: warm up from the inside with hot organic mulled wine, fruity organic punch, or non-alcoholic cornelian cherry punch. For a little snack in between, enjoy hearty organic treats and dishes. And if you’re still looking for thoughtful Christmas gifts, you might find the perfect one in the in-house shop Krimskrams & Kramuri.

The Winterburg is truly a family paradise: the popular Luftburg adventure world remains open during winter, offering free bouncing fun on the colorful inflatable castles. In addition, there’s a free outdoor playground for the little ones and complimentary boccia lanes for some lighthearted sporting fun.
