Halloween 2026 at Wurstelprater
This year, the Wurstelprater is offering a (mildly) spooky and varied Halloween Family Festival for all ghosts, witches, zombies, and pumpkins over five days – from October 27th to 31st, 2026. Children take center stage in this year’s Wurstelprater activities, though runners and party enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy in the Prater. You can find the details below.
Unlike in previous years, there will be no Halloween parade at the Wurstelprater this year; instead, the focus will be on the individual rides. On the evening of October 31st, actors will stage spooky scenes at a wide variety of attractions.

Halloween Family Celebrations
Families can look forward to a full five days of Halloween fun at the Wurstelprater this year! The event features interactive activity stations, a stamp card challenge, live shows, and free bouncing in the inflatable fun zone.
Interactive Stations & Stamp Card 🧙♀️🎃🤹♀️
Spooky, fun-filled activity stations await you and your kids all across the Wurstelprater. There is something for everyone, from pumpkin carving and painting to magic shows and an interactive circus. Plus, the stage at Riesenradplatz will host an entertaining program featuring performers and magicians. A map of the locations will be available in the coming days!
If you pick up a Halloween stamp card (available at Riesenradplatz), you’ll have a chance to win a prize every day! Simply collect at least 5 stamps and drop your card into the collection box at Riesenradplatz before 17:00. Daily winners will be drawn at 17:15 and announced on stage.

Halloween at Kolarik's Luftburg 🎃🧙♀️🧚♀️
Whether a magical witch, a colorful butterfly, or a spooky ghost—everyone will find a charmingly spooky afternoon program at Luftburg. Kids who arrive at Luftburg Adventure World with face paint or in costume get to jump and play for free on the bouncy castles and inflatable slides.

Big Halloween Magic Show 🧙♀️🧚♀️🕷
At Magic World Vienna, children's magician Bombastini invites all kids to a grand Halloween Magic Show! You and your children can look forward to a magical, fun, and slightly spooky show featuring plenty of surprises and opportunities to join in the action. There are six performances of this special Halloween edition of "Magic for Kids" in total.
Recommended for children aged 2–8. One accompanying adult is admitted free of charge per child.

Party & Dance Events at Prater
If you’re a party animal or love to dance, you’ll have a blast at the Prater this Halloween. In addition to Halloween, this year also features celebrations and dancing for the Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos).
Día de los Muertos 🌸💀💃
The day before Halloween, Prater DOME is dedicating the night to the Mexican festival honoring the deceased. Dress code: flowers, glitter, skulls, and anything else associated with the Day of the Dead.

Club Transponder is also embracing the spirit of this colorful, life-affirming Mexican festival. The celebration features a Salsa & Bachata party, including live dance performances by salsavienna.at.

Biggest Halloween Party 💀🕷🎃
Once again, Prater DOME is hosting the city's biggest and scariest Halloween party, featuring the most intense decorations around. There’s also a Halloween photo contest with a chance to win prizes. Musical genres include EDM and club tunes (Main Floor), HipHop (Second Floor), party classics (Classics Floor), and chill-out beats (Rooftop).
