Halloween 2024 at Wurstelprater
Halloween will of course be celebrated again in the Wurstelprater on October 31st, 2024! This year's motto is: "The best of 10 years of Halloween!" Various restaurants and attractions will of course also be celebrating again – first and foremost all the ghost trains. So that you don't miss anything, we have an overview of all the locations and activities in the main evening program for you.

Ghost Train 🚂👻👻
The Liliputbahn will be transformed into the Ghost Train again on October 31 and tells the story of the daring ghosts Otilia and Poldi. On the journey through clouds of fog, accompanied by the howling of wolves and owls, through the dark, legendary forest of Count von und zu Dracula, you will experience the adventure of the two lovable ghosts. Tickets are available now at the main ticket office! Adults who are particularly creative, magical and scary costumed can win wildcards for the Halloween parade this year! Taking part is very easy: all you have to do is dance up to the stage at Riesenradplatz between 17:00-18:00 o'clock and blow the jury away with your Halloween costume. The costume competition is led by and with district mayor Alexander Nikolai and Alexander Ruthner from Prater Wien GmbH. Horror-Labyrinth 
The horror labyrinth is back again this year – ultra scary and with living monsters and ghosts that will give you a real fright. But maybe you're made of really tough stuff... The labyrinth is available from October 29th to November 2nd.

Halloween parade 🚂🧟♀️🔥
The popular Wurstelprater Halloween parade is of course also there! It starts at 18:30 o'clock – the route then winds its way through the Wurstelprater, past all the squares and through (almost) all the alleys. At the end of the parade, a huge spectacle awaits you from around 20:00 o'clock #fireshow #burningcalafati. The guys and girls from Batala Austria will also be there. And maybe there will be a surprise, who knows, who knows... You can find the route marked below. Cosmic Horrors in the Planetarium 🪐💫🤖
The Vienna Planetarium is offering you a Halloween special on October 31st: The universe seems to be a terrible place! Dark energy, deadly radiation, horror worlds and destructive forces lurk in the darkness of the cosmos. Take a trip to the most terrifying and yet breathtaking places in our galaxy and beyond. After visiting these nightmare worlds, you may never want to leave Earth again! Performances take place every half hour from 18:00 o'clock. The last performance starts at 21:30 o'clock.
