Halloween 2022 in Wurstelprater
Of course, Halloween is celebrated in the Wurstelprater on Monday, October 31, 2022! Really big! With a parade and a top-secret-surprise Grande Finale. Various bars and attractions will also join the celebrations – above all, of course, the ghost trains, in which the lifeless creatures will e supported by professional scarers (scary plus plus). Halloween Parade 
This year, the Halloween Parade is taking a new, longer route across the Wurstelprater, past all big squares. The parade will be led by “Wurstl, Death and Gravediggers”, followed by the Prater train and the Nesterval Ensemble, which will stage the topics “Famous Dead in Vienna”, “Exorcist” and “Adams Family” as brilliantly as usual. The conclusion is a Grande Finale – we promise, you’ll be amazed (we’re very much looking forward to it)!

Ghost Train 
The Liliputbahn is transformed into the Ghost Train again this year and tells the story of the good spirits Otilia and Poldi. It drives through wafts of fog, accompanied by the howling of wolves and owls, through the dark, legendary forest of the Count of Dracula. Tickets are available on site or online.

Gruselspringen 
All children in makeup and/or costume can enter Luftburg’s Erlebniswelt for free and transform it into a wonderful, enchanted world.

Pumpkin Carving 
Spooky, fun, or abstract pumpkin creations can be made in Schlumpf City. In addition, children dressed up and made up get a 50 cent discount on all rides.

Between and after all this scary action, you have to recharge your batteries. All the bars and restaurants in and around the Wurstelprater are happy to serve you. In line with the atmosphere, Halloween cocktail creations are served in The Bar and in the Neuzeit. At the Terrassenstüberl, small guests will get a Naschsackerl aka a bag full of sweets. Halloween Party at the Stadl
If you want to combine Wiesn vibes with Halloween, drop by Prater Alm – they invite you to their Halloween Stadl-Party. Among all disguised visitors, the best costume will be awarded!

Schweizerhaus Saison Ending
If you like it a little less spooky and all the more traditional, drop by the Schweizerhaus. The end of the Schweizerhaus season will be celebrated there on October 30th and 31st -– including live music. Table reservations are accepted by phone and online.

Halloween at Prater DOME
If you’re older than 18 years, don’t miss Vienna’s scariest Halloween party at Prater DOME. They offer various highlights: if you participate in the costume contest, you can win a VIP card valid for a whole year.
