1. Vienna Prater Ball

To mark the 260th anniversary of the Prater, the Wiener Praterverband invites you to the 1. Vienna Prater Ball. This masked ball will kick off the Prater anniversary year on Shrove Tuesday, March 3rd, 2026. Under the motto “Colorful and Cheerful” – just as the Wurstelprater has been known for 260 years – visitors of all ages are welcome to join the celebration. The dress code calls for elegant evening attire, which may be creatively combined with colorful masks.

The ball ticket includes admission to the festively decorated Prater Dome and an exquisite, lavish buffet. Attendance at the 1st Vienna Prater Ball is limited to 1,000 guests. In addition to individual tickets, reserved table seats and a VIP area for invited guests will be available.

Throughout the evening, performers and magicians will mingle with the guests to provide entertainment. Various small attractions – such as a ball toss booth, arcade games, and a coin carousel – will complete the ball’s nostalgic theme.
