Wiener Kaiser Wiesn 2026

From September 24th to October 11th, 2026, the motto is "O’zapft is!" (The keg is tapped!) out once again in Vienna’s Prater. For the fifth time, the Wiener Kaiser Wiesn is transforming the Kaiserwiese into Austria’s largest traditional festival and Oktoberfest celebration. With free admission to the festival grounds, you can enjoy a variety of regional delicacies during the day (starting at 12:00) and party to your heart's content in the "Wiesn Village." So, slip into your dirndl or lederhosen and join in the fun at Austria’s biggest festival!

The Wiener Kaiser Wiesn features three large festival tents as well as various alpine-style huts, barns, and rustic venues spread across the spacious festival grounds. If you want to fully immerse yourself in the festival atmosphere, be sure to grab a ticket for one of the fantastic live acts. Musical highlights include well-known festival favorites such as Die Lauser, Wiener Wahnsinn, Die Edlseer, Party Krainer, Die Dirndl Rocker, Mountain Crew, Achtung, and many more.
