This years guests: Daemonium, The XXL and Olympia Looping
In addition to our local rides, there are also one or two rides visiting Vienna's Wurstelprater every year. During this year's peak season – from March 15 to December 31, 2025 – we're even welcoming three guests.
Daemonium – Family-Friendly horror
This year, Deamonium, the largest mobile ghost train, will be visiting the Wurstelprater. A variety of impressive horror scenarios await you on four levels, including the occasional live scare. Fun and entertainment are guaranteed, while Daemonium deliberately avoids glorifying violence. The ghost train aims to be interesting for the whole family.
The ghost train, manufactured by Mack Rides, was built in 1978 and is owned by showman Martin Blume. It is located on the same plot of land where the Super 8er Bahn ride was located until 2022.

Die wilde XXL Schaukel – Extreme Swing
You may already know the popular swing from London's Winter Wonderland, where it's known as The XXL. This year, it's visiting the Wurstelprater amusement park and will swing you to a height of up to 40 meters. Die wilde XXL Schaukel can accommodate up to 20 people at a time – grab your friends and treat yourself!
The giant swing, manufactured by KMG, was built in 2017 and is owned by showman Joseph Manning Jr. You'll find it on Straße des 1. Mai, where the Knusperhäuschen, a classic Viennese restaurant was located until recently. Showman Michael Barth's (the plots new tenant) long-term plans for the prominent space are not yet known.

Olympia Looping – Pure Adrenaline
The Olympia Looping is now a familiar sight at the Wurstelprater, making its sixth appearance this year. However, this may be the last visit of the largest portable roller coaster, as construction of a new theater is scheduled to begin in the fall of 2025.
If you're wondering why you should dare to ride the roller coaster, the Olympia Looping, run by the Barth showman family, will give you pure thrills. It offers a track length of 1250 meters, a track height of 32.5 meters, five loops, and a top speed of 90 km/h. Hold on to your toupee and let's go! You have until mid-August, when the Olympia Looping leaves for Munich's Oktoberfest.
