On Sat, August 23, 2025, you can expect plenty of information, fun, and action at the Red Cross Family Festival (Rotkreuz Familienfest) on the Kaiserwiese. The Vienna Red Cross offers exciting insights into its work and has an entertainment program for all ages.

At the Red Cross Family Festival, you'll experience firsthand how an emergency response works, meet the search dog and drone teams, and get a glimpse into the emergency vehicles. A children's program is offered for kids, including a stamp pass and hands-on stations. You can also undergo a quick vitals check, practice first aid, and donate blood.

Of course, your physical well-being is also taken care of – you'll be spoiled for choice from food trucks to Kaiserschmarrn from the field kitchen. By purchasing food and drinks, you directly support the work of the Vienna Red Cross!
