Pride Run 2026 in Prater
On Sat, May 30, 2026, at 18:00, it's time to lace up your running shoes and get going! Since 2018, the Pride Run Vienna has brought together people every year who share not only their passion for running, but also their values: acceptance and equality – and the common goal of raising awareness for the LGBTIQ community. Under the motto "Run for Acceptance," this run sends a powerful message of solidarity, respect, and an open society.
Whether you're a beginner or a pro, everyone is welcome!
Pride Run Formats
The Pride Run covers a 5 km course that can be completed on foot or in a wheelchair. When registering, you can choose between the following categories:
🏃♂️ 5 km running
🚶 5 km nordic walking
👩🦽 5 km wheelchair
The start and finish area is located on Prater Hauptallee, near Vivariumstraße. Starting from 10:00, the Vienna Pride Community Fest offers a diverse program of information, activities, entertainment, and culinary delights. After the race finishes, the winners will be celebrated there together.

New: 1 km Children's Run
For the first time, there will be a Children's Run as part of the Pride Run Vienna! Kids and teens aged 14 and under (born in 2012 or later) can participate. The focus is on having fun with exercise, shared experiences, and enjoyment, so there will be no timekeeping in the 1 km kids' run. Whether running, walking, or using a balance bike, everything is possible. Children can participate on their own or be accompanied by family. Registration is only required for the children; accompanying adults can run without registering.
Each child will receive a race number and, of course, a medal at the finish line as a souvenir. Race numbers can be picked up from the Prater tent on the day of the event starting at 15:00.
