New Years Eve at Prater ⋆ Prater.at

Do you already know how you will spend your New Year's Eve in Vienna? If you celebrate December 31st, 2025 in Wurstelprater, you can expect not only live music, punch, sparkling wine, Austrian specialties and more, but also plenty of rides and attractions that will take you into the new year with all the energy and adrenaline you need for a good start! The operating times of the open attractions are coordinated with the New Year's Eve party.

At the Wintermarkt am Riesenradplatz you have the opportunity to celebrate until 2:00 a.m. Accompanied by live music, you can dance into the new year and toast it appropriately with a glass of sparkling wine.

New Year's Concert Public Viewing

As per tradition, the Vienna Philharmonic's New Year's Concert will be broadcast live on the video wall at Riesenradplatz on January 1, 2025 from 11:00 o'clock. The Winter Market will also be open from 11:00 a.m.

Pre New Year's Eve Party at Ponykarussell

If you’d like to get into the mood for New Year’s Eve already in the afternoon, Ponykarussell is the place to be. From 14:00, a live DJ, Prosecco, and a great atmosphere will get you excited for the evening ahead – perfect for dancing and celebrating your way into the night.
