Laserdance – the new Breakdance Generation at Prater
Ready for a world premiere? Laserdance is an indoor entertainment complex opening at Wiener Wurstelprater, which houses the latest generation of breakdance! Let yourself be spun around in the new, comfortable gondolas through rapid 360° turns and be impressed by pulsating neon lights, laser beams and the ultimate soundtrack. In addition to the Breakdance 5, Laserdance also offers you a Lasertag Arena and Pixel Games.
Tradition meets high-tech
Since its market launch in 1985, the Breakdance from Huss Park Attractions has been one of the most popular rides in amusement parks and fairs. With well over 100 deliveries, the Breakdance is also the most successful attraction from the Bremen manufacturer.
Breakdance 5 has been pimped compared to its predecessor and offers 30% more power and 30% higher top speed. The higher speeds on the main turntable and gondola crosses also make the ride more dynamic and powerful. The gondolas have also been redesigned and not only offer more space, but also more comfort and safety thanks to individual lap bars. 40 visitors can be transported in 20 gondolas per ride.
In addition to its technical innovations, Breakdance 5 also impresses with a new, futuristic design from the pen of an Italian designer. Spectacular LED, laser and light shows coordinated with the soundtrack and the Operator Center Stage will immediately catch your eye. The latter makes it possible to operate the ride directly from the center and also enables live DJ performances.
Adventure or Thrill
Breakdance 5 offers you two ride modes: Thrill Ride and Adventure Ride. The two modes differ in the duration and speed at which you are whirled around during the ride. In Adventure mode, a ride lasts 2.5 minutes, while in Thrill mode it is 3 minutes. You choose between the two modes using two separate queues that are marked accordingly.
Accompanied by an adult, children aged 6 and over can ride in adventure mode and those aged 8 and over can ride in thrill mode if they are at least 1.20m tall. The maximum permitted height in Breakdance 5 is 1.95m.
365 days a year
Laserdance is weather-independent due to the roof and is expected to be open all year round. You can buy tickets on site from the machines. You can pay with cash, debit and credit cards. Soon it will also be possible to buy tickets online via the official website. The ticket price is 8 euros.
Laserdance is currently in the soft opening phase and is open Friday to Sunday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. (subject to change).
