Superman

Flying with Superman? That was possible for a long time in Wurstelprater. The first version of Superman with a central axis stood in the Wurstelprater for three years. A year later it was replaced with the successor model without a center axle. This allowed the left and right arms to rotate in different directions, which also allowed the gondola to be rotated diagonally.

In 2006, Superman left the Wurstelprater. In its place came the Wildalpenbahn, which is still operated today.
