Düsenklipper

Düsenklipper

The “Düsenklipper” was an amusement ride of the Telecombat type, manufactured by Soriani & Moser. It was purchased brand-new by the Sittler family and began operating in the Wurstelprater in 1983.

The Düsenklipper featured 12 gondolas and a unique, extendable central mechanism that could be adjusted in height. A similar operating principle can be found in the Aeroplan Carousel – also a ride of this type, though manufactured by Fabbri and equipped with 14 gondolas.

The Düsenklipper closed at the end of 2006 and was subsequently dismantled. It was replaced by a children’s ride called Tegethoff, which was, in turn, replaced in 2017 by the Wiener Freifallturm.
