Zum Kaiser

Restaurant

Zum Kaiser

In 1766, Emperor Josef II opened the Prater for all Viennese with the quote “If I only wanted to walk around among my own kind, I could only walk in the imperial crypt.” This was the inspiration to dedicate the restaurant to the emperors of the House of Habsburg and call it “zum Kaiser”.

In addition to original Viennese cuisine, you can also enjoy the stunning view of the Wiener Riesenrad from the Kaiserterrasse.
