Red Nose Run 2026

The Red Noses organize around 40 runs across Austria every year. The highlight of the running series takes the Red Noses to Vienna's Prater – so be there when the Red Noses Run takes place on the Prater Hauptallee on Sun, September 20th, 2026. Your registration fee supports the work of the Red Noses!

Circular Course on the Prater Hauptallee

The Red Noses Run course is a circular route on the Prater Hauptallee. You can choose between two distances: 1.9 km or 3.8 km. How you complete the course is entirely up to you – run as fast as you can; leisurely, laughing, joking; at a relaxed walking pace; in a wheelchair; with walking sticks; pushing your small child in a stroller. Anything is possible. The most important thing is to have a good time.

The start and finish line of the course are located on the 📍 Hauptallee between Meiereistraße and the Stadionbad (stadium swimming pool). You can participate alone, with friends, with your family, or even with your company.

Supporting Program

The Red Nose Run also features entertainment. Children can enjoy activities off the track, such as a target shooting wall and a giant dartboard, as well as an activity station and face painting. The Red Nose Clowns will provide additional entertainment on and off the course, as well as on stage. Click here to see the full program in detail.

The Red Noses Clowndoctors

The Red Noses have been around since 1994. Back then, their mission was to bring joy and laughter to those who need it most, starting with visiting sick children in hospitals for the first time.

Now, these specially trained performing artists visit not only the very young, but also adults and seniors. They visit medical facilities, nursing homes, special education centers, social service agencies, reception centers, and refugee shelters. With laughter, songs, magic tricks, improvisation, and empathetic support, the Red Noses clowns bring moments of happiness and a little lightness to people in difficult situations.
