ORF KiDS Familienfest

The colorful ORF KiDS Familienfest tours Austria from May to September – and on Saturday, June 13th, 2026, it's making a stop at the Wurstelprater amusement park! Your kids can look forward to an afternoon full of movement, creativity, and action! Christoph Hirschler, host of the popular Austrian children's program, will be there, challenging the kids to a variety of different activities.

Fun and games for the whole family

The inflatable ORF KiDS sports field will delight your children with a basketball hoop, a soccer ball pit, a giant slide, and an obstacle course. Under the guidance of the animators, they can try their hand at stilt walking, diabolo, plate spinning, juggling, pot walking, and much more at the games booth. The giant puzzle and the riddle adventure will test their brainpower.

Fun photos can be taken in the studio tent with the photo booth camera, and the favorite characters from the ORF children's program will be available for photos in the large star tent. Joining the Familienfest at the Wurstelprater are: Helmi, Biene Maya & Willy, Ritter Rost, Heidi, Pinocchio, Vicky the Viking, and Ginger the Vegisaurus.

The various activity stations are spread throughout the Prater. You'll find them at the Riesenradplatz, Calafaltiplatz, Rondeau, and in front of the Prater Alm.
