Perchten Parade at Prater

Perchten, it is said, drive away evil spirits at the end of the year. If you want to see these impressive, tradition-filled figures live, you won’t have to wait for the Rauhnächte in the Prater. On Sunday, Nov 30th, 2025, the big family-friendly Perchten Parade will take place, with more than 200 masked participants expected!

Among the participating groups are: Ybbstaler Schluchtenteufln, Odlwonga Feuerteifin, Black Demons Ardagger, Haager Schlossteufel, Luzifers Schattenfürsten, Teuflische Kreaturen aus Kittsee, Urltaler Quellenteufel, Prochenberg Perchten, Neuzeuger Höhlenteufeln, Wolfsberg Teifl'n, Türnitzer Grobn Teifln, Kematner Urteufeln, Perwarther Ruinenteufel, Steyrer-Teufelsperchten, and Valentiner Wehrteufln.

🌰 If you’d like a snack or something warm to drink, the vendors of the Wintermarkt at Riesenradplatz will be happy to welcome you.
