Wintermarkt at Riesenradplatz
In the mood for some christmas-winter-vibes? From Fri, Nov 21st, 2025 – Tue, Jan 6th, 2026 Riesenradplatz is transformed into the traditional Wintermarkt. The "Wintermarkt am Riesenradplatz – Prater" offers you the typical Viennese Christmas market atmosphere and gives you an opportunity to leave your crazy everyday life behind (at least for a few hours). There are of course all the classics – from (children’s) punch, mulled wine, chocolate fruits, baked potatoes, waffles, langos and Co. to the Wintermarkt mug with a new motif.
In addition, "Wintermarkt am Riesenradplatz im Prater" provides you with wonderful live music from Wednesday to Sunday at 19:00 o’clock. Artists and bands from pop, rock, blues, soul, and gospel perform live at the Winter Market stage. The Vienna Philharmonic New Year’s Concert will be broadcasted live on January 1st at 11:00 o’clock! This year, you can also enjoy a traditional Perchtenlauf at Wintermarkt. You can find the detailed program down below.
